Ron Paul : Cutting Food Stamps For The Poor Is The Right Priority

May 16, 2011 MSNBC I really hope Ron Paul becomes the republican candidate, the 2012 debates will be epic then , Ron Paul 2012, he's going back to 1776.Ron Paul can win as a Republican, If he runs as an Independent he won't win because we have a two party system. Ron Paul is an American who studies and understands the World. He has common sense, as we all do. Democrat & Republican is just a label.

  1. The title of this piece is a misquote. Ron Paul said cutting food stamps for the poor is *not* the right priority. And instead we should be focusing on cutting overseas military spending.

  2. Exactly, he said "if we don't cut military spending, then we'll have to cut foodstamps, and I don't think that would be the way to go."
